This book was perfect for some of our little friends finding it hard to adjusting to preschool transitioning. It actually bought tears to several little friends eyes, because it was that easy for them to relate and understand. It was an award winner for our center and parents. it truly helped with our transitioning process.

This is such a sweet book with great illustrations. I have been reading it to my son since he was 18 months old and about to start daycare. While I can't say that the book has helped with the separation anxiety when I drop him off at daycare, I do know that he loves to read this book because now at 23 months old he repeats "all day long" when it appears in the book.

I gave this book to my daughter whose two-year-old just started preschool, and she tells me it has helped so much with his adjustment. The refrain has become a kind of "mantra" of reassurance for him--not unlike carrying around a security blanket. His mother has personalized the text, reminding him that "I love you when you're at school, I love you when you miss me ( but I ALWAYS come back), I love you when you're playing with blocks, I love you when the teacher is reading you a story, I love you when you're having fun on the playground." She also reminds him at home that "I love you when you're taking a nap, I love you when you make a mess, I love you when I'm angry with you, I love you all day long!" He also enjoys filling in his own examples. A wonderful, warm story with a helpful message for toddlers!

Very simple and cute book. My little one now paraphrases the “tag line” to me frequently “I love you when you’re with me and I love you when you’re away.” Seemed to reallly resonate with her and the tantrums when we leave have subsided.

We've used the saying. "mommy/daddy loves you all day long", when leaving in reference to the book and our 23 month old gets it. Good story for young ones, to help figure out them figure out grown ups come back.

I read this book to my preschool class. It is comforting, nurturing, and very sweet. I enjoyed reading it as much as they enjoyed hearing it. The illustrations simple but powerful and really add to the story.

This is a super sweet book. My three year old seemed to appreciate it and she was able to follow the story. I bought it around the beginning of preschool so that my daughter could get used to the idea of me being away from her... but remembering that I am coming back and I love her whether we are together or not.

Fit good except for the throttle valve. Had to use the one off the old carb. Other than that works great.

Lynne A. Weikart was associate professor at Baruch College School of Public Affairs, City University of New York, until her retirement. She is currently a practitioner in residence at James Madison University, where she teaches budgeting and financial management. Before her academic career, she held several high-level government positions, including budget director of the Division of Special Education in New York City (NYC) public schools and executive deputy commissioner of the New York State Division of Human Rights. For several years, she also served as the executive director of a nonprofit, City Project, a progressive fiscal think tank focused on reforming NYC’s resource allocation patterns. Weikart’s current research focuses on resource allocation in urban areas as well as on urban finance, and she has published many articles on these subjects. She is author of Follow the Money: Who Controls New York City Mayors? (2009) and the coauthor with Greg Chen of Budgeting and Financial Management for Nonprofits (2012). The latter was CQ Press. She won the Luther Gulick Award for Outstanding Academic from the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration in 2001.

Unusually underwhelming. This topic is full of life - and this book does a somewhat decent job of getting the points across. My issue is that after reading the chapters, and having homework assigned there are questions that are not explained throughout the chapter. Case and point: Chapter 3, assignment 3.2 - where does this chapter go into detail about how to include safety of margin in your calculations? It merely passes by this info briefly in their "consultation example" on page 53 (or so). This happens on each assignment where I feel like I really understood the chapter, and then I am assigned questions that were not explained to me in enough depth to have them answered correctly. It's slightly annoying, and wastes my time.

Just another book for school. Although my teacher did find mistakes in it and there are assignment questions that don't give you all the needed information to answer properly.

The book was fairly easy to read for those with a rudimentary understanding of finance. However typos were extremely distracting for assignments

Terrible condition. Front cover is about to fall off and all of the chapters have highlighter marks and notes written on the pages

This book had good information and was delivered to me quickly. I wish that the chapters were listed at the top of the page to make navagating through it a bit easier. Overall I was satisfied with this purchase.

Does anyone know what actual programming of the Arduino is about? They write examples and explain them quite well, but good luck trying to write your own. The one example i tried did not work. Somehow the author forgot to define a variable in the beginning and when i went to compile it I got an error. Not a big deal, just another mistake. There are some good examples of projects in the book, but save your money and dont purchase this unless you want to have a paper weight on your desk.

If you're having problems with your project, this can be a good reference.Pros :- Content is well prepared and organized.- Coverage is satisfactory- Schemas and diagrams are relevant and easy to understand- Lots of links to references if you still need more info on some problemCons :- Mostly hardware recipes (no IoT integration or similar projects)- No Bluetooth/Bluetooth LE coverage (no iBeacons stuff which is a hot topic these days)- Example code is not on Github, though you can download it from publishers portal- Lots of links to reference sites within the content. There is however a lot of focus on the software concepts and as such the code is written very clearly and it’s pretty easy to follow.Some great topics that are included in this book are: button debouncing, button multiplexing, detecting motion, noise reduction (using mean and median filter), measuring distance, 1000 buttons to 1 pin, motor control, shift registers , and very many others. These are great-to-master topics that are useful for many embedded projects not only for Arduinos.One of the great features of the book is that for each project one can find a schematic as well as a realistic breadboard implementation. Throughout the book one will learn how to use buttons, toggle switches, LEDs, potentiometers, temperature sensors, etc.Each project starts with the complete code and then it contains a code breakdown, where each part of the code is explained with more details. I wish the internal references to previous sections would also contain page numbers (for a quicker retrieve).Overall I think this is a pretty good introductory Arduino book which is very easy to follow, and it’s very clear to read. If you are quite advanced in Arduino project then you may want to skip this book, although given the price of it you may want to use it as a quick reference.

"The peculiar grace of a Shaker chair is due to the fact that it was made by someone capable of believing that an angel might come and sit on it," wrote Thomas Merton in 1964, at the height of his interest in the Shakers and their spiritual arts. Merton never completed his planned book on the Shakers, but he did write two brief essays and several letters on the subject, and he spoke to his fellow Cistercian monks about what they could learn from the Shakers' quasi-monastic approach to faith and work. Outstanding story easy read

Separated by just 45 miles and both settled into Kentucky in around the same time period (1806), there are some similarities. This book contains an introduction by Editor Paul Pearson, who points out two similarities of Merton and Shaker’s view:i. Embrace of monasticism (because the Shakers could be viewed such). Is not he Rule of St. Benedict welcoming of strangers similar to Shakers?ii. Merton’s vision of paradise consciousness “original blessing” on the earth.Merton is also attracted to the ‘wonderful integration of spiritual and physical” in their work (and that is emphasized by the Rule).The book includes 3 short essays of Merton, and then a few selected Merton correspondences. The view of paradise on earth perhaps challenging, and did the Shakers really feel “they had been completely regenerated and were living the perfect risen life in and with Christ”. One of my favorite Merton statements in the book is that “the peculiar grace of a Shaker chair is due to the fact that it was made by someone capable of believing that an angel might come and sit on it”. So the challenge for me, is how to take that attitude for my own work, can I make a map that an angel may use? “The form had to be an expression of spiritual force”. The second essay is an introduction to the book “Religion in Wood” by Deming Andrews, and looks at the work of William Blake to better understand the Shaker material.The photos by both Merton and Pearson greatly enhance the book.

Beautiful non-traditional vows that you should still personalize yourself. I love the ideas of each person being their own source of love and happiness, instead of thinking of the other as your source of these things only you can provide for yourself. The vows are based on personal responsibility rather than the sense of blame that happens in relationships when we think it's the other person's fault if we're unhappy.

Loved all the little things they added. It can be read in just a few hours. My friends who had asked me to write their vows were more than happy to use these simple loving vows especially when we saw that most all the other vows were simple repeats and repetitive if not downright demeaning and antiquated. Check it out all couples thinking about marriage. Perhaps you don't use all of the vows or go with the whole ceremony. I promise you will not be disappointed and your friends and married friends will be asking you where you got it from.

Everyone should consider using these vows at their wedding - they are incredibly beautiful and much more meaningful than the traditional ones.

This book would've been much better as an article. You really get the impression that it was limited content stretched out to fill enough pages to sell a book and promote a board game. I realize repetition is a teaching tool, but the repetition of some pages seemed - again - to be more about filling pages to sell as a book. Not enough good content to recommend reading.

This is my first Book review on Amazon or ever, so I'll try to keep short and to the point.When I first found and bought this book, I thought it was, as the name states, a guide to investing. To my surprise, I found it anything but that.He speaks as he always does on the mindset and how to approach the world of investing, the different types of investors and so on..I found it very irritating that he kept referring to his Rich Dad in every bit of advice he gives, a sort of scapegoat to me. Especially, since Rich Dad is not a real person according to many interview done with him.The silver lining is that there are some solid key points here and there, but what I have to say is that: *it does not take +400 pages to say what he has to say* he is literally rehashing old stories from the first two books and retelling them times and times again.In all honesty, I started this review with a 4-stars review and dropped it to 3-stars in the middle of this review and now at the end of it I'm not even sure if those 3-stars are a correct assessment of the merit of his book.In his defense, he did say he is a Best-SELLER not a best-writer.

It did not really go into depth describing investments. It was more a motivational book about "making money work for you" and "getting out of the rat race." I would have rated higher if there was more concrete advice instead of glittering generalities.

OK, let me start out by saying that I like Robert's way of making you think. I read a few of the Rich Dad books. He changed how I look at money and wealth. I have unknowingly even been implementing much of what he preaches over the past few years and what he says does make alot of sense.Here's my problem with this book. First of all, as with his other books he simply repeats statements and thoughts over and over. He claims it is a learning tool. I agree to a point, but after awhile it really starts to look like he's just filling in the pages to make the book longer.Secondly, he says alot of the exact same things as the other books. no real new info here. Although if you haven't read his other books (and I suggest RDPD first) then this is a good overview.Finally, and most importantly, my issue with Robert is that while he makes great generalized comments he never actually tells his readers what to actually do. He kinda skips around the subject. So when I saw his "Guide to investing" I expected this to be more than the same generalizations. No such luck. He still doesn't quite get into what to actually do in a step by step manner. As such this book is mistitled as a "Guide" to investing." More like Robert's general thoughts toward investing.I can look past his somewhat remarkable ability to retain specific conversations and events from more than 45 years ago...or the way his claims are not really verifiable...or how in one book a story is slightly different than in another book...all of which makes one wonder if he made up the whole background story in order to have a theme for his books. However, I cannot keep reading his books if he doesn't start to present new, fresh ideas and specifics.

I’ve read and listen to audio version 3 times and at the third time I found out actually this is the truly the best investment book I’ve ever read.I had read several books from other great investment mentors such as Tony Robbins, the problem is, they are the one teach you to be wealthy as a middle class, but Robert Kiyosaki is the one really guiding me to be a rich man. tho I love the whole book but currently the chapters serves me the best is the first 10 chapters, on my third time reading them I finally learned the core lessons such as:Mindset to become a player in this money gameIt doesn’t take money to make moneyHow following a simple boring formula and make a plan can make me rich ultimately.I truly enjoyed these priceless content, in my opinion people rate low on this book are the ones want a clear answer on “what do I invest in” but it just don’t work that wayFinancial Literacy always trumps hot tips

This book changed my mindset about life. There are many great points on investing with deeper thought effect all areas of your life. If I can only now come up with a great idea to start my own business to get me out of the rat race that I have been trained for 37 years to do, may I find the true path in the B quadrant. I never dreamed the things I have been taught just like poor dad taught his son would lock me into this road. My mind is open and the challenge is before me. Thank you Robert for such a great educational inspirational book. I look forward to teaching my five year old your cash flow game as she gets older.

Anything written by Kiyosaki is worth reading if you are at all concerned about your financial future. It is a great read especially if you are a business owner.I would recommend reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and Cash flow quadrants BEFORE reading this.
