Honestly, since reading this book, my life has changed significantly. I've traded options for years but I'd never heard about using them in such a clever way. Since I started this, I’ve done really well, not even one loss yet. It’s a way to use the strong seasonal trends in commodities, and the high leverage of commodity options to take advantage of the price trends. The no stress type of trading is something I’d been searching for a long time. I only wish I had heard of this sooner. I have two of Singletary’s other books and I like the plain language explanations and he uses a lot of illustrations and drawings. I can enter the trades on my ThinkOrSwim. I own a lot of stocks, so I like that this trading is independent of the stock market and gives me a second reliable way for income. This little book has a lot of bang for the buck. I recommend it.

Easy read with straight forward explanations. Solid strategy for good gains without heartburn. Whether you use a covered approach or just options,it makes sense.

I bought this book shortly after it came in in 2017. I have another of Don’s books and enjoyed it and his writing style very much. First thing I noticed about this book was that it was short – less than 100 pages. All good books on the markets need that much in just lead-up material, don’t they? Well, I read this book and I didn’t like it. He was talking about new concepts, to me at least, that I thought I knew all about. He was talking about selling options naked. Everyone knows how dangerous that is – unlimited risk and all - yet he’s talking about it like it’s something safe, you know, like trading in the outright futures markets. Some of the concepts didn’t seem to be covered in the detail that I wanted. When I was done with it I thought ‘Oh, well, I’ve spent more money on worse books. Still, there are some *really* novel ideas in there.”Some of the concepts he mentioned in this book – I don’t have to know where the market is going to go and exactly when it’s going there, I just need to know where it’s not likely to go and that there’s premium well out of the money in futures options – were ones I couldn’t let go of. I had varying success in the futures markets. I’ve traded stock options with much success in trending markets. It’s tougher in sideways markets but, according to Don anyway, sideways markets are some of his favorites for his Time Farming method.I ended up doing more research on this whole idea and read a couple more books on it. One of them I would wholeheartedly recommend – Complete Guide to Options Selling by James Cordier and Michael Gross - was exactly what I expected – about 400 pages with the first 90 or so singing the praises of this whole style of trading. Honestly, by the time I finished just the first 90 pages I was sold on the trading style as a lower risk style than my idea of ‘safely’ trading outright futures. After finishing this book I saw the Don’s Time Farming book on my shelf and decided to reread it, now that I had a little more knowledge on the topic and I now understood how selling options wasn’t necessarily the unlimited risk I wrote them off to be the first time around.I read books cover to cover – preface, forewords, table of contents, indexes – all of it. That’s how I do it. The first thing I noticed in there the second time around was a glowing foreword in the book written by none other than Michael Gross, one of the co-authors of the Options Selling I’d just read. Hmmm. Hadn’t noticed that before.I reread this book with a different pair of lens than before. Don hits the ground running on the topic of Time Farming. It seems he’s pretty convinced that you already are open to the concept and want to delve further into the idea he presents. He doesn’t spend a lot of time trying to convince you on the merits of the ideas. I’m not sure what book I read the first time but this second around I read a book that has no wasted words in it. Every paragraph has vital information in it. One of the other books I read (not Gross/Cordier’s) by an industry renowned author had the requisite first part of why the strategies are good, talked mostly about how much money you can make if you use their trade service and finished with some very basic concepts on the whole idea. Honestly, there wasn’t as much useful info in that 300+ page book as there was in Don’s and that one cost 3X as much and took me a lot longer to read.If you’re already sold on the idea of selling options naked and want some ideas on how to do so with high probability and low risk this book is a must read. If you are as I was and are unconvinced, you might start with Gross/Cordier’s book and then read Don’s book. I have been employing these strategies for ~ 6 months now with great success in an up market, a down market and what appears to be turning into a sideways stock market at least. I’m looking forward to some of the seasonal commodities trades that haven’t come into season yet. I see this as what could well become my new primary style of trading going forward. Don also has a subscription service that he offers that has a remarkably high success ratio. Again, no lottery tickets here but consistently profitable trades. Great for income or just plow the profits back into a trading account and grow the account.If you’re looking for lottery wins, huge fast profits, look elsewhere. This isn’t your book. If you’re looking for excitement, watching the candles turn red and green, try a casino. They have lots of flashing lights. If you’re looking for a way to generate consistent profits with easily managed risk this book may very well be what you’re looking for. It was for me.

I've read both of the Girls Survive books by Nikki Shannon Smith and loved both titles. This is a great historical series for girls and boys to read, featuring girls who use their wits in perilous situations. Even if they're scared, even if they feel alone, even if they don't always get things right the first time. I would have devoured these when I was a girl, and younger me had great taste in books too!

After a DXA scan revealed bone loss, the doctor recommended I do "weight bearing exercise" (and take a drug, but I won't talk about that here) and then left me to my own devices. No specifics on what weight bearing meant or that there were moves I should avoid. to protect my spine. Thanks a lot doc (not)! It was only through internet research that I stumbled across Margaret Martin's Melio Guide website, which led me to the purchase of this book. I like that she provides four different exercise levels: beginner, active, athletic and elite ( no beginner wants to be thrown in the deep end of the pool, and nobody who has been a regular exerciser wants to do a beginner workout). I also respect that Ms. Martin is a licensed physiotherapist and certified trainer with a long history of working with the osteoporosis population - as well as training other physiotherapists; I think that is particularly important in this situation. I do wish the binding of the book was spiral-bound so that it would lay flat (personally, I think all exercise books should be spiral bound.) Also, I thought it was a little odd that although the exercises are described/pictured in the book, you have to visit her website to download specific workout plans/schedules (she offers both 3 day a week & 6 day a week plans). However, it is not hard to visit her website and she has so much additional osteoporosis-related content there, it is worth the visit (I especially enjoy the youtube stability ball warm-up she has posted - the music and the moves are fun and it makes me wish she would put out an exercise video!)

some things I liked: and lots of valuable information, well thought out program, book is laid out well, author clearly knows what she is talking about (which is extremely important in order to not make things worse with osteoporosis)What I didn't like/suggestions for improvement: make with a spiral binding so easier to use, include exercise plans in the book itself, suggestions for modifications on exercises and/or alternative ones for those of us with bad knees (or other joint problems). Some (even simple ones in the beginner section) I can't do due to my knees but I'm not sure of alternatives with which to replace them that would fit into the way the program is structured & work the appropriate muscles/bones. Also, some info on how to make sure one is stretching the appropriate muscles, not the tendons (especially for those of us who are hypermobile).To make the most of the book, one needs to go through her website which is very extensive and takes some time to figure out the best way to use and find things easily, but is well worth it. Sometimes, though, it's difficult to go back and find things (on the site) partly due to the amount of info. I do wish there was a bit mroe info in the book that is on the website, to make those things easy to use as reference. Would highy recommend watching the videos on the website that demonstrate the exercises.

This book was extremely well thought out and written. Very clear instructions and lots of good information. Margaret really knows what she's talking about and cares very much that her readers do things properly. She gives reasons for why you're doing the various exercises (which part of the body they are meant to help) and shows photos of the right and wrong way to do them.

After my osteoporosis diagnosis, I was afraid to do a lot of things so I wouldn't hurt myself.That's not a good plan for staying strong. Now that I have her book, I have started exercisingwithout fear and I can tell a difference already in just a week. My posture is improvingand I feel hopeful for the first time since my diagnosis that I will remain active and strong.I am so very thankful I found her book and will likely order more.

Very thorough and helpful book. I am a post-transplant patient and now have Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency from taking Prednisone daily, which ironically, requires me to take even more Prednisone. I already have Osteopenia from taking the low-dose of Prednisone, so I ordered this book proactively to begin doing exercises to prevent my bones from getting worse. Weight Bearing exercises for bones is different than Weight Lifting to build muscle.

A few years ago when I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, I struggled to find information on what types of exercise were safe for me. I found this book at my local library. After using it for a few weeks, I gladly purchased a copy of my own. The illustrations are great. The descriptions on how to do the exercises are simple and clear. There's a lot of variety in the exercises so you won't be bored with the program. I am much more confident now of what I can and cannot do.Combine this book with a wealth of information on Ms. Martin's website, and her email videos, makes for a great combination. It's almost like having your own physical therapist "on call." The email videos demonstrate how to safely do activities of daily living. This was one of my top concerns prior to buying this book.

I have Rheumatoid and osteoporosis, and needed some reference guide, as I am concerned with doing someexercises that might not be good practice..this has helped quite a bit..wish you could do some exercises for those of us who have had a Thoracic fracture, and would like to do floor exercises, but don't know if we should even try to get down and back up again safely..or maybe there are some alternative measures.

I highly recommend this book for a clear and comprehensive exercise program to improve bone health. Together with Margaret Martin's website, melioguide, everything is available here. I have been doing her exercise program for a month and am noticeably stronger.

This book was ok if you are into the regular touristy things. I really needed something that would give me helpful tips on how the culture works (transportation, food, money, addresses etc). We started going to some of the places recommended and were really disappointed - they weren't off the beaten path or even all that neat to see. We ended up ditching the book and doing our own thing which was so much better. Between the internet, the hotel front desk employees, and locals we were able to get so much better information. We ended up seeing and doing things that were awesome and never mentioned in the book. This book would be great for people who love tourist areas; which we are not. Next time I'll just borrow some books from the public library before I decide which one to take (if any at all).

This book is great for anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. My daughter (who lives in another city) and I are leaving September 1. We have used this book to plan our trip over the phone since we are not taking a tour. It is thorough, and it has wonderful suggestions about places to stay, places to go, and excursions to see the sights. I'm too old for zip lining so it's really great to find alternative side trips to make our vacation special..

Excellent guide. It is clear the author is intimately familiar with Costa Rica. I relied on the advice for San Jose and the Central Valley. Everything written was spot on. From what to see in downtown San Jose, surrounding areas, and hotel recommendations. I even walked through a few of the hotels described in the guide (that I did not stay in) just to see how they looked. For the sights I visited, I would not change a single word of the author's description. Also, I read the entire book cover to cover, even though I didn't leave the Central Valley, just because I enjoyed Mr. Greenspan's insider knowledge.

In 2008 this was our go-to guide with excellent info and equal attention to high-class and budget experiences. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Low-cost resources, when mentioned, are down graded and little information is shared. Very disappointing.

Perfect to help teach my 15 month old about coloring. Obviously she just barely scribbles, but I wanted to find a coloring book that was age appropriate that would encourage her to enjoy her artistic side.

I'm gonna be honest all the pictures in here you could google something similar for free and just print out. That being said the fact it's a book was what made it special for my 2 year old. It's sturdy binding and the pages are decently sturdy. I wouldn't recommend using markers though. My only grump was who puts in a picture of a zebra to colour?

My 16 month old grand-daughter and I are loving to learn to color in this book. Big pics are Great for little ones. I know we will soon be coloring within the lines !!!!

This book has at least three forwards from different authors that speculate that the work was satire, irony, and any number of other things.I disagree. This is a collection of angry rants about the government from a moderately crazy person. If you like William S. Burroughs, you'll probably like this book. If you don't, you don't. If you've never read any of his work before, I wouldn't recommend starting with this.
